Cromwell Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Instructor Jordan Riley is a Cromwell, CT native that started training Karate under Sensei Frank Shekosky’s Cromwell Martial Arts in the early 1990’s. Excelling in sparring and competitions at an early age Jordan took up additional martial arts such as Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA at the age of 15 with Lions Den CT. Danilo Cherman, Vitor Shaolin, Johnny Callas, Frank Latina are just a few of the coaches that contributed to Jordan’s training during this time. At age 17 Jordan joined the US Air Force Military Police and was able to train and compete overseas in countries such as Portugal, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Philippines and even spent a year living and competing in Las Vegas, NV with Syndicate MMA training with coaches John Wood, Vinny Magaelhes and UFC fighters Forest Griffin & Khalil Roundtree. Jordan is currently and active 135lb-145lb MMA Fighter, Brown belt in Judo under Sensei Murkoshi, Blue Belt under Danilo Cherman, and a Level III Army Combatives Instructor. Jordan is looking to continue to compete in martial arts at the Professional level while making Cromwell MMA his home to pass on his Martial Arts knowledge.
